The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday August 30 features a trap for Billy, as Kyle reaches out to his nemesis – despite Ashley’s reservations.
Plus, Sharon learned what Rey is really after, and then Victoria urged her to get to the bottom of it – by any means necessary.
I Have a Plan
Kyle (Michael Mealor) was still super-eager to set up Billy (Jason Thompson) and get him out of Jabot, but Ashley (Eileen Davidson) worried the grudge is getting personal and declined to participate.
She did, however, demand to know how Billy intended to pay for his expensive Jaboutiques, and whether he’ll fire loyal employees to pad his budget. Billy insisted he had everything under control.
Kyle, for his part, ignored Ashley’s edict and approached Sinead with a business proposition: If she can lure Billy into another poker game and get him to lose big, Kyle would pay off Sinead’s other gambling debts.
(Question: If Sinead wins a ton of money from Billy, why would she need Kyle? Guess that’s why we’re not poker players.)
Sinead agreed and made Billy an offer. He declined but still looked tempted.
I Have a Secret
Sharon (Sharon Case) flat out asked Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) why he came to Genoa City. Rey claimed he’s a bill collector looking to make JT (Thad Luckinbill) pay his credit card debt.
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Victoria (Amelia Heinle), and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) freaked and urged Sharon to find out more.
Sharon invited Rey to dinner. Mariah (Camryn Grimes), back home from drowning her sorrows over Tessa (Cait Fairbanks), wanted to know who he was.
Sharon then noticed that there is an intruder on the property but, when Rey grabbed his gun (are all bill collectors issued one?) and dragged the culprit inside, they learned it’s Tessa!
