The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Kay (Jeanne Cooper) and her maid were kidnapped by Morey Amsterdam (yes, from The Dick Van Dyke Show). She’s been replaced by lookalike, Marge (also Jeanne Cooper). Marge was loving living in the lap of luxury… and Kay’s husband, whom she calls Sexy Rexy.
Kay and Esther (Kate Linder) – who was pregnant with Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) – planned a daring escape. But will they make it home?
On This I Swear
Victor’s (Eric Braeden) takeover Jabot – due to some overconfidence on Jack’s (Peter Bergman) part – has left patriarch John (Jerry Douglas) on the brink of death. Jack – who thought Victor did it partly to avenge Jack “stealing” Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) from him – vowed to his dad that he will get the company back, and bring down Victor, once and for all. Spoiler: Jack gets Jabot back. But he does not bring down Victor once and for all. And he loses Nikki, too.

Nate the Great
The Nate (Nathan Purdee) you saw on your screen today is the dad of the Nate (Sean Dominic) you have been seeing in present-day Genoa City. Nate Jr’s mom is Olivia. But, at the moment, Nate was in love with Amy. Too bad Amy left town. Bye, Amy. Don’t get attached, viewers.
Bad Luck
Who is Cassandra (Nina Averson) and why should you care? She was a rich widow who Paul (Doug Davidson) fell in love with. Cassandra was accused of murdering her very old, very rich husband in cahoots with her lover, Adrian. Paul was convinced that Cassandra was innocent and that Adrian is to blame for everything. Paul had some notoriously bad judgment when it comes to women.
On the Road Again
Danny (Michael Damian) returned home from tour and reunited with Christine (Lauralee Bell). He said he missed her. Soon, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) will show up with a baby that proves… he didn’t miss her all that much. Also, Nina (Tricia Cast) was engaged to David (Michael Corbett).
