The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, September 18 features Jack and Victor making decisions they’d previously disdained, simply to piss the other off.

Plus, Billy continued to be stupid, Mariah continued to be naive, Summer continued to be a brat, and Kyle continued to believe himself God’s gift to women.

You Can’t Tell Me What To Do!
Victor (Eric Braeden) told Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) he intended to keep recognizing Albert Miller as one of Jack’s (Peter Bergman) daddy candidates to himself. Jack asked Abby (Melissa Ordway) to keep the information under wraps, too.

But then Victor found out that Jack was digging around in his family business, and he stomped over to warn Jack away. Victor told Jack not to even consider making a play for the Newman legacy.

(Considering that Victor is a self-made man who didn’t get a single penny from his father, what kind of a claim does he think Jack might have?)

Jack replied, “Oh, yeah? Well, if you don’t want me to do it, then I am totes going to do it, so there!” Yup, they definitely sound like brothers. Toddler brothers.

Money Talks
Billy (Jason Thompson) decided to gamble even more money. Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) worried. He told her not to. He asked Gloria (Judith Chapman) to wire said money to a secret address. She was suspicious. He told her not to be.

Mama Drama
Summer (Hunter King) whined that everybody hates her. Phyllis told her that’s not true. Phyllis wanted to repair their relationship, but Summer snapped the reason she went after Billy was because Summer wanted to hurt her mother!

Con Job
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) asked Nick (Joshua Morrow) to give Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) a job. He did… deleting files. Tessa didn’t want to take Mariah’s money to solve her problems. Which only made Mariah want to give her more.

Food For Thought
Kyle (Michael Mealor) asked Lola (Sasha Calle) out – at her prompting. She said she’ll think about it.

The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
