The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, March 3, 2020, features Genoa City shut down by yet another ice storm. But, in the lead-up, many people do many, many stupid things, as Mariah lies, Phyllis makes an offer, Adam gets one, and Devon and Elena decide to play nice.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) caught Mariah (Camryn Grimes) with Lindsay the adorable bartender. Mariah insisted they didn’t sleep together. Then she accused Tessa of sleeping with Tanner. Tessa said she didn’t. But she didn’t believe Mariah. She left. Mariah cried. Lindsay tried not to take offense.

Meanwhile, Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) headed off to work, leaving Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) to take care of a sick Sharon (Sharon Case). Faith decided an appropriate topic of conversation with a woman undergoing chemotherapy is a friend’s disgusting tuna sandwich. (Raise your hand if you think Genoa City’s toniest private school doesn’t have a cafeteria where they make their own food.)

Sharon got sick but was soon distracted by Mariah arriving to announce she feels sads. Now pay attention to me!

Adam: Top of the Heap

Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam (Mark Grossman) were having dinner out, happy that Connor (Judah Mackey), who once couldn’t live without them both together, is at a friend’s house when Victor (Eric Braeden) called to announce that Adam’s presence at the ranch was demanded — pronto!

Earlier, Victor told Nick (Joshua Morrow) he’d be putting Adam in charge of Newman Enterprises. Nick made a frowny face. Back at his house, Nick wanted to talk about his kiss with Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). But Phyllis wanted to talk about business opportunities.

Adam and Chelsea arrived at the ranch, where Victoria (Amelia Heinle) was recuperating, to find out they’re iced in. Now they can chat all night!

Make Nice

Devon (Bryton James) and Elena (Brytni Sarpy) learned about Ripley’s attack on Amanda (Mishael Morgan) and decided since she’s a victim — something Phyllis kept telling her she was even when Amanda insisted she wasn’t; silly woman doesn’t know her own feelings! – -she couldn’t have been responsible for Colin’s (Tristan Rogers) actions. That totally tracks. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
