The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Wednesday, July 25th centers on Devon’s rush to marry Hilary, Lily being questioned by the cops, and Mariah pushing for a happy ending of her own.
Wedding Day, Stat!
Devon (Bryton James) rushes to give Hilary (Mishael Morgan) the wedding of her dreams… while in a hospital bed. Neil (Kristoff St. John) wonders why the rush, and Devon tells him the truth, as well as defends his decision to keep Hilary in the dark.
Devon also confesses to Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), who cries on Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) shoulder, after telling him she’s glad he and Sharon (Sharon Case) worked things out, and that Sharon won’t hear about their one night stand from Phyllis.
Phyllis urges Hilary to chose a dress so Phyllis can hurry up and be a bridesmaid. Hilary realizes no one has told her when she’ll be getting out of the hospital and pushes Hilary for answers until her BFF breaks down and admits Hilary is dying. Hilary sobs and vows to make the most of the time she has left.
Just a Few Questions, Ma’am
Shauna (Camryn Gamm) and Charlie (Noah Alexander Garry) discuss how Lily (Christel Khalil) ran the red light that landed Hilary in the hospital but doesn’t remember it. Charlie insists on protecting his mom.

If You Leave Me, I’m Coming With You
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) suggests that Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) clear Crystal’s name, so her little sister can return to Genoa City… and Tessa can stay there.
Tessa insists that will be too hard and, besides, Tessa is a bad person, Mariah is better off without her! Mariah decides that if Tessa leaves town, Mariah will go with her!
