The Young and the Restless recap for Thursday, September 3, 2020 features tension-filled family reunions for all! Amanda shares the possibility of her being related to Hilary with Devon, Chelsea demands that Adam let her come home and be supportive, and Noah returns to tell Sharon what he thinks she should be doing with her life.

Now that Amanda (Mishael Morgan) has agreed to a DNA test to see if she is related to Hilary, she also needs some DNA. She meets with Devon (Bryton James) at Society in the hope that he might be carrying some around.
She also asks him for Hilary’s birth date. Turns out they are just one day apart. (Though she doesn’t bother to ask the year, because, presumably, a lady never tells.) As Amanda leaves, Devon looks at Hilary’s photos on his phone. So the face didn’t do it for him? It was the matching blood type that triggered him?

Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) is done letting Adam push her out of his life. She calls and tells him she’s coming home. Adam tells her he’s fine with that – but he won’t be there. He’s leaving town. Chelsea wants to be there for him. Adam tells her he’s fine – but he won’t be there.
Chelsea hangs up and vents to Victor (Eric Braeden). He mumbles something about them being there for Adam. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) tries to be supportive, mentioning that she went through a similar childhood trauma and – Victor cuts her off. He doesn’t need any advice from anyone who knows what they’re talking about. They should refocus on Connor (Judah Mackey). Just like they did most of last year.
Mama’s Boy
Adam goes running to Sharon (Sharon Case). Noah (Robert Adamson) is there. He doesn’t like Adam stressing out his sick mom. Sharon insists she’s fine. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
