The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, April 7, 2020, picks up with Victor pulling everyone’s strings – and Victoria and Nikki hitting their breaking points, while Jack has the same feeling about Theo and Kyle, and Abby tries to push Phyllis there.
Need To Know Basis
Victor (Eric Braeden) told Adam (Mark Grossman) he can take over from Victoria (Amelia Heinle) at Newman Enterprises. Adam and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) do a little happy dance and discuss how they totally deserve this because they are both so awesome.
Meanwhile, Victoria isn’t pleased and says she’s moving out. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) is even more unhappy and demands the whole story from Victor. Victor says Adam is wrong about him killing AJ, but the whole story is Victor’s business, and he will let people in on it on a need to know basis. Right now, none of them need to know. Only him.
Nikki begs Victoria to stay, so her daughter does Mommy the favor of only moving out of the big house, and into another house on the property. That’ll show Victor!
Boys Will Be Idiots
Theo (Tyler Johnson) is waxing poetic to Dina (Marla Adams) about the wonder of Lola (Sasha Calle) when Kyle (Michael Mealor) comes in and announces that Dina will be exhausted by too many people around – so Theo should go now.
Theo doesn’t want to, and he and Kyle have another of their pathetic fights. This does actually upset Dina. It also upsets Jack (Peter Bergman), who, once again, tells the boys they are never to do this again.
Open Door Policy
Abby (Melissa Ordway) arranges for construction across the street from The Grand Phoenix. Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) wonders why she would sabotage a business she still is part owner in. They discuss it in a less than mature manner.
