The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, December 2, 2020, features Chance and Abby finally tying the knot, as old enemies reconcile… except for Victor. Victor stays on brand. He can’t let a little thing like ruining his daughter’s wedding stop him from heckling Billy.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Jack (Peter Bergman) and Victor (Eric Braeden) are so cordial to each other that Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) is truly impressed.
Old enemies Jack and Jill (Jess Walton) are so cordial, she feels empowered to ask him who was the woman who got away – Nikki, or Phyllis (Michelle Stafford).
Jill is so cordial to Nina (Tricia Cast), she admits that her grandson’s mother may not be the most horrible woman who ever lived. Luckily, Nikki and Jill are still snarking.
And then Victor opens his mouth. He lets Jill know that her son shot her grandson. Billy (Jason Thompson) denies it, and even offers to take Chance (Justin Gaston) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) out to celebrate their marriage. Chance suggests they wait and see how the investigation plays out. A dejected Billy slinks out, despite Jack urging him to stay.
Before the happy couple takes off for their honeymoon, Nina has everyone write down a piece of marriage advice. A room full of people among whom not a single one has been able to make a marriage work, scribble their suggestions. Good luck, Chance and Abby!
Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Traci (Beth Maitland) share a sweet moment when Ashley remembers Traci’s lost daughter, Colleen, and then all the parents remember their terribly young children. Not in fake flashbacks, where everyone is wearing a ton of unconvincing youth make up, but real flashbacks! Soaps at their finest!
The adults drink a toast to reconciliation and more to come for the Abbott, Newman, and Chancellor families. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
