The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, October 30, 2020, features Chelsea taking advantage of a new mom, Lily passing judgment, and Jack offering advice on how to handle Victor.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) gave birth just weeks ago. She should be knee-deep in diapers, hormones, sleepless nights, and ill-fitting clothes. Instead, she is wearing skin-tight outfits, leaving newborn Miles at home (there’s probably a bottle of pumped milk somewhere Esther can give him), and grabbing coffee with BFF Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) to talk about what’s really important – Chelsea’s life.

Chelsea was so stressed, she passed out. (Is this connected to the knock on the head she got in the Chancellor elevator?) So Chloe invited Chelsea to move in!

Looking Back

Devon (Bryton James) and Amanda (Mishael Morgan) discuss what her PI found about Rose possibly not being Hilary’s – which means she wasn’t Amanda’s – biological mother.

Nate (Sean Dominic) continued taking all the blame for sleeping with Elena (Brytni Sarpy) on himself. This time for Lily (Christel Khalil). Later, Nick (Joshua Morrow) wants to know about the damage to Nate’s hand. Nate admits it’s worse than he feared. But he deserves it!

At the same time, Devon (Bryton James) is telling Elena she should be with Nate. Because they are never, ever getting back together. So Devon is very magnanimously giving Elena permission to move on.

Moving On

Adam (Mark Grossman) continues the ‘I Am No Longer a Newman Tour’. He tells Billy (Jason Thompson), who doesn’t buy it, and Jack (Peter Bergman), who compares it to his own war with Victor (Eric Braeden). Adam insists that if he goes back to his old name, he will no longer be the man who did all those terrible things. Uhm… that’s not how it works. Not emotionally, and certainly not legally! The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
