The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, January 8, 2020, features the fall-out from Chelsea and Adam’s reunion, as Chloe and Victor weighed in. Plus, Abby had a suggestion for Devon and Kyle had a birthday tantrum.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights: Kidding Around
Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) was thrilled to learn that Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) is pregnant. She offered Connor’s (Judah Mackey) hand me down baby clothes if it’s a boy. Chloe wondered what she’ll do if it’s a girl. Uhm… does she not have Bella’s old stuff?
Chloe, on the other hand, was not thrilled to learn that Chelsea and Adam (Mark Grossman) are back together. She dragged over Billy (Jason Thompson) to back up her displeasure.
It was a fun group. Chloe and Billy shared a daughter, Delia. Connor has Delia’s corneas. Billy and Chelsea share a son, Johnny. (Yeah, bet you forgot about that.) Victoria (Amelia Heinle) has Johnny. They’ve all screwed up their lives — a lot. Nobody has any right to be judging anyone else.

Victor and Adam: Threat Exchange
Victor (Eric Braeden) informed Adam he expected to continue to get to see Connor. Adam informed Victor that he expected to be invited to all family events from now on, whether or not Nick (Joshua Morrow) approved. Victor threatened Adam with Connor losing his spot in private school. Adam threatened Victor by turning Connor against him. This was a very positive family atmosphere for an already screwed up little boy.
Meanwhile, In Other Genoa City Places
Abby (Melissa Ordway) suggested Devon (Bryton James) hire Chance (Donny Boaz) to help track down his money. Devon hired him to follow Amanda (Mishael Morgan), instead. Oh, yeah, he’s totally not obsessing.
Plus, Kyle (Michael Mealor) had a birthday. Summer (Hunter King) gave him a photo of them as kids. Theo (Tyler Johnson) stopped by. Kyle was sarcastic. Lola (Sasha Calle) told him to chill. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
