The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, November 23, 2020, kicks off a short week with some short tempers, as Chelsea goes off on Sharon and Victor over Adam, Kyle is gleeful at having more reasons to bash Theo, and Lily doesn’t want to hear Rey’s accusations about Billy.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

When Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) learned of Adam’s (Mark Grossman) commitment to a mental institution, she first went to Sharon (Sharon Case) to yell at her for participating, then to Victor (Eric Braeden) to accuse him of wanting to break Adam down completely. Strangely, that doesn’t make Victor want to sympathize with her.

Suit Case

Kyle (Michael Mealor) says goodbye to Summer (Hunter King) who is off to work for Lauren. Both act like she is being deported to Siberia with no access to any communication sources whatsoever. When Kyle learns that Theo (Tyler Johnson) is suing the Abbotts for Dina’s (Marla Adams) estate, he can’t stop telling Jack (Peter Bergman) how jealous Theo has always been of him.

Later, Kyle reminds Theo that he had a chance to work his way up at Jabot – just like Kyle did! – but he blew it. Theo does not tell Kyle that he is the epitome of the guy who was born on third base and thinks he’s hit a triple.

Kyle also offers Summer’s old job to Mariah. Because, like Kyle, she’s earned it. And there was obviously nobody he could promote from within. He then goes whining to Summer, who assures him he is absolutely right, and Theo is absolutely wrong.

Gun Shy

Lily (Christel Khalil) tells Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) that Billy (Jason Thompson) couldn’t have tried to shoot Adam. Then he and Lily discuss kissing. And dating. Rey catches up with Billy. And tells him the gun used to shoot at Adam was registered to Billy. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
