The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, December 6, 2019, features Abby firing Phyllis as Chance figured out who’d been robbing their hotel. Plus, Connor continued his parental mind games and Nick pouted about Chelsea spending time with her son — and his father.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Abby (Melissa Ordway) fired Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and they traded barbs about who was a more pathetic cliche. Abby insisted that Chance (Danny Boaz) helped her figure out Phyllis used her position as Chief of Security to undermine Abby.
Phyllis denied it. Abby told her never to come back to The Grand Phoenix, but Phyllis reminded her that she doesn’t just own the place — she also lives there. Maybe she can sue Abby for housing discrimination?
Abby thanked Chance and they planned to get drinks to celebrate. But, when Chance bumped into Abby, all the stolen jewelry fell out of her purse. Are we sure this idiot is Victor (Eric Braeden) and Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson) daughter? Even if Abby set up the fake thefts to frame Phyllis… she’s still being stupid.
Power Of Three
Connor (Judah Mackey) must have been watching Charmed, as he told Sharon (Sharon Case) the way to get the monsters out of his head was to keep repeating, “You can’t beat three, Mom, Dad, and me.”

Meanwhile, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam (Mark Grossman) took a break from talking about their son to discuss Adam and how happy and wonderful he was… before meeting Victor.
When they get home, Connor assured them that everything was fine now, and he didn’t need Sharon anymore. As she left, he mumbled, “Sharon go away. You can’t beat three,” while looking not a little bit like the kid from The Omen. Both of them.
Mad Men
Nick (Joshua Morrow) was still mad about Chelsea living with Adam. Devon (Bryton James) as still mad about his money. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
