The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, December 14, 2020, features reveal of who the witness is against Billy, Sally manipulating Kyle in the most basic manner possible, Theo having trouble telling time, and Nate getting long-awaited medical news.

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Lily (Christel Khalil) went running to Billy (Jason Thompson) to break the shocking news of who the witness who claims to have seen him at the site of Adam’s (Mark Grossman) shooting is. Brace yourselves, YR fans – it’s Alyssa! Who saw that coming?

Billy instantly leaps to the next obvious conclusion, which is that she’s setting him up. Lily rather reasonably points out that Alyssa hates Adam, so why would she be working with him? Think a little harder, crack journalists, we’re sure you’ll figure it out eventually.

Alas, before Billy can confront the woman he paid to turn on her childhood friend so how could she possibly turn on him, Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) shows up to arrest Billy for tampering with a witness.

The Kids Aren’t Alright

Sally (Courtney Hope) asks Kyle for some painfully obvious advice. He is very proud of himself for giving her the obvious answer. Sally fluffs his ego for being ever so clever. At the same time, Theo (Tyler Johnson) is advising Summer (Hunter King) to watch out for Sally. She’s smart. Well, smarter than Kyle, that’s for sure.

Later, Theo accepts the Abbotts offer to drop the lawsuit in exchange for the Paris stores they promised him. Kyle wants to withdraw the deal because Theo was 45 minutes late. Jack gives Theo a speech about working hard at the business he inherited. As if every single Abbott wasn’t also handed their respective position.

Hands Off

Nate (Sean Dominic) tells Elena (Brytni Sarpy) another operation on his hand might make it so he can operate again. Yay, Elena says. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
