The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, May 22 features Billy confronting Victor over Adam, while Adam continued scheming, Rey managed to be a complete hypocrite with Lola and Kyle while Faith was just snotty. Plus, Michael pushed Devon to schedule the reading on Neil’s will.
Billy (Jason Thompson) told Delia’s grave how angry he was about Adam’s (Mark Grossman) return. He then told Victor (Eric Braeden) the same thing. Victor challenged what Billy would have done if he’d had the chance to bring Delia back to life.
Billy ranted some more, then told Victoria (Amelia Heinle) that he expected her to believe the worst about Adam — because he’s earned it.
Billy wasn’t completely wrong. After a visit with Victor wanting to discuss Adam’s future, Adam called his mystery fixer to firm up the plan to frame a fall guy for his attack.
After Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) rather snottily asked when Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) would be moving in with her and Sharon (Sharon Case), Rey admitted to Sharon that he’d like to.
He then ran into Lola (Sasha Calle) and Kyle (Michael Mealor), who were looking for an apartment to share. Rey asked if Kyle is even divorced yet. The irony didn’t seem to strike anyone as a wee bit hypocritical. Meanwhile, Sharon and Faith talked and agreed that they could be happy with Rey.
Staying the Course
Elena (Brytni Sharpy) didn’t want for Jett to go on tour, but he senses she doesn’t want to leave Genoa City. He assured Elena he can go without her.
Devon (Bryton James) didn’t want to schedule Neil’s (Kristoff St. John) will reading. Michael (Christian J. LeBlanc) pushed him. Devon was happy that Elena was staying in town and went ahead and scheduled the reading.
