The Young and the Restless recap for Monday, June 14, 2021, celebrate flag day by flagging some serious issues as Ashland drops a bombshell on Victoria, Sally goes home to ask for a favor and Abby needle-points.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Ashland (Richard Burgi) tells Victoria (Amelia Heinle) that doctors found cancer in his lungs after the surgery for his heart attack. He only has six months to live. Victoria wonders if he should tell Tara (Elizabeth Leiner) but Ashland isn’t into that. He’s only worried about what will happen to Harrison. Victoria urges him to make every moment count, while they look at each other intensely.
Meanwhile, Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Jack (Peter Bergman) are watching Harrison run around the park and marvel at what a gifted athlete he is. They tell each other what great dads they are. Summer shows up to second the motion but then gets grumpy when Tara comes to the park to bring her son a jacket. The bitch!

LA Story
Sally (Courtney Hope) travels back to Los Angeles for a meeting with Eric Forrester (John McCook). Eric wants her not to try any of her old tricks, but Sally insists she’s learned her lesson. She’s just here to help out a friend. Will Eric put in a good word for Summer (Hunter King) with a design house in Italy in which Ashland and Eric are silent partners? Eric wants to check with Victor (Eric Braeden). But that would ruin the surprise, Sally demures… Oh, and it would keep Sally away from LA. Wouldn’t Eric like that?
Passing the Days
Abby (Melissa Ordway) sits around fretting about Chance. Nina (Tricia Cast) suggests she needle-point, instead. Viewers who remember teen hellion, street urchin Nina wonder when she picked up this particular hobby. Chance calls, so at least Abby can stop. But they have a bad connection, which freaks Abby out. Cell phone calls never drop unless something horrible has happened! The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
