The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, October 2, 2020, features the beginning, middle, and end of various stories. On the one hand, Sharon promised an end to her coddling Adam. But she still can’t stay away from him.

Plus, Jack is in the middle of a leap-of-faith mystery, which he thinks Victor might be able to help him with. And Elena is at the end of her rope – does this also mean the end of her relationship with Devon?

The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Adam (Mark Grossman) agreed that Sharon (Sharon Case) should be focusing on her upcoming cancer surgery, not wasting energy helping him.

Yet, when Billy (Jason Thompson) publishes his article revealing how, among other things, Adam once kidnapped newborn Faith (Alyvial Alyn Lind), he somehow manages to position himself as the victim. Sharon’s daughter is getting bullying text messages, but Sharon is at the coffee house, holding Adam’s hand.

Tears Of Love

After a series of ridiculous assumptions too insane to go into here, Jack (Peter Bergman) has decided that Dina (Marla Adams) wants him to track down a necklace she was wearing in a home movie of bringing baby Jack home from the hospital.

Another ridiculous assumption and Jack is in Victor’s (Eric Braeden) living room, asking him if he knows anything. Since Victor knows everything, he is happy to confirm that he knows all about this, too. Listen up, Jack.

Sexual Healing

After Elena’s (Brytni Sarpy) daily whine about Devon (Bryton James) spending time with Amanda (Mishael Morgan), she and Nate (Sean Dominic) revive Jared the homeless kid from a drug overdose. This makes Elena think about how Nate is always the one who is there for her. Then they have sex. Maybe. Only the shadows know.

Oh, and Summer (Hunter King) and Kyle (Michael Mealor) are eloping, while Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) needs money. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
