The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, September 20 proves that Adam may be down… but he’s not out, as he set Victoria up to the fall for him. Plus, Devon heard shocking news from a shocking person, Summer and Kyle reconnected, as do Jack and Phyllis.
Passing the Buck
Paul (Doug Davidson) and Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) questioned the woman who sold Adam (Mark Grossman) the higher dosage pills for Victor (Eric Braeden). She agreed to talk if she’s granted immunity. She told Paul and Rey that she doctored the drugs… for Victoria (Amelia Heinle).
Victoria denied being involved and allowed Paul and Rey to search the Newman offices… where they found not just a pill bottle with Victor’s name on it, but Nate’s (Sean Dominic) tablet… in Victoria’s desk.
Michael (Christian J. LeBlanc) called Adam to tell him he was right, his dealer did ask for immunity, and Michael granted it.
Another Scam
Devon (Bryton James) was shocked when the lawyer discussing Kay’s (Jeanne Cooper) will with him turned out to be a dead-ringer for Hilary. That’s because Mishael Morgan is playing Amanda Sinclair and played the late Hilary.

Devon was sure this is all a setup, but Amanda said her client, Chance Chancellor, has information proving that the will that was read was forged on the orders of Devon’s biological dad, Tucker (Stephan Nichols).
Strange Bedfellows
Summer (Hunter King) sobbed to Theo (Nic Lucan) about Victor’s death, and he talked about his own dad dying when Theo was 15. Later, Kyle (Michael Mealor) also offered Summer his support.
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) told Jack (Peter Bergman) she won’t be mourning Victor. Every time she looked at him, she remembered what he did to her, and how he ruined their marriage.
