The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, September 18 follows the news of Victor’s death as it makes its way around Genoa City, through Adam, Chloe and Kevin, and all the way to Victoria.

Victor Is Still Dead

The Newmans were still clinging to their Victor (Eric Braeden) is dead story. They chastise Michael (Christian J. LeBlanc) about it, just in case. Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) showed up at Adam’s (Mark Grossman) door to yell at him for forgetting about visiting Connor (Judah McCay), but when she heard what happens, she forgave him.

Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) stopped by next, worried about how Summer (Hunter King) will deal with Victor’s death but mocking Adam for believing his dead old dad was invulnerable.

Pass It On

Nick (Joshua Morrow) called Kevin (Greg Rikaart) and Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) looking for Victoria (Amelia Heinle). They claimed they hadn’t seen her, so Nick told them about Victor.

Chloe and Kevin returned to the boathouse, where Billy (Jason Thompson) was explaining to Victoria about his dark night of the soul, tossing and turning in bed while imagining he’s talking to Delia, Jill (Jess Walton), Jack (Peter Bergman), Phyllis and… ooh… spooky… himself. He believed it totally cured him of his homicidal, gum-chewing personality.

Victoria thought Billy should get further professional help. He thought, nah, he’s good. Chloe and Kevin filled Victoria in about Victor. She went running out.

Home Is Where the Secrets Are

The Newmans and Nate (Sean Dominic) discussed keeping Victor’s death a secret, while Abby (Melissa Ordway) worried about filling in Ashley (Eileen Davidson). Summer thought the secrecy is odd.

Victoria rushed home to seek comfort from her mom. Yeah, if Nikki and Nick were faking this, they better have a really good explanation for why they put their loved ones through all this agony. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
