The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights

Halloween night had everyone exhausted. Nick gave up on Chelsea and watched a movie, Red promised herself the world, Kyle stewed about his family’s future, Abby basked in her own glow, and Rey cozied up with Sharon. However, once they closed their eyes all hell broke loose.

The Devil Wears Red

Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) dreamed of taking over Newman Enterprises and having Sharon (Sharon Case) as her work slave. She took out Kyle, destroyed Jack, and got ready to face the Newman family.

Her dream of living the high life turned into a disaster when the Newmansignored she even existed. Instead of being all-powerful she became invisible. The group laughed about her fall from grace. Apparently, she had fallen from grace and fell hard. She lost it all and was homeless without a friend in the world.

Above the Law

Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) had a whole new persona in his dream. Instead of being a cop, he was a robber and Sharon was his leading lady. They even stole the Newman jewels only to find it was a dupe. Sharon played him and Adam was really her partner.

Speaking of Adam, Nick had a nightmare he murdered his brother. The funeral set the stage for an all-out family war as everyone was all about his brother. They loved Adam, hated Nick, and even told him to kick rocks. Nick was no longer welcome in their world.

Crazy Cousins

Kyle (Michael Mealor) had a nightmare about Theo (Tyler Johnson) taking over the Abbott home and family. A party raged on at the mansion and Kyle and Theo had it out. Kyle tried to break it up only to have Theo taunt and tease.

Things took a dark turn when Jack showed up and Theo announced he was having Jack committed. He was the head of the family now whether they liked it or not.

The Laughing Heiress

As for Abby (Melissa Ordway), her dream was a hit to her ego. She’s used to being on top of the world but instead, was a laughing stock. She was stuck in a sitcom and was the butt of every joke. Talk about horrifying!
