The Young and the Restless (YR) recap for Thursday, July 26th finds Hilary where she has always yearned to be, at the center of everyone’s attention.
Unfortunately, it might also be her last day on Earth (but what a way to go)! Hilary makes amends with Neil and Mariah, while Phyllis laments to Jack about Billy, and he promises to be there for her if his brother can’t hack it.
Something Old
Neil (Kristoff St. John) and Devon (Bryton James) make peace over Hilary (Mishael Morgan) and, later, Neil does the same with the lady of the hour.
Lily (Christel Khalil) sobs to Cane (Daniel Goddard) that she can’t face going to the wedding, knowing that she was behind the wheel during Hilary’s accident – and she doesn’t yet know that she caused it!
Cane assures her that everything will be fine, and Lily participates in Hilary’s pre-wedding planning with Phyllis, Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) and Mariah.
Something New
Hilary and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) make peace and Hilary urges Mariah to carry on the show without her.

Mariah fusses, claiming that no one is interested in seeing her, but the truth is, she’s just vowed to leave town with Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) as her erstwhile girlfriend goes to live with her fugitive sister. But Tessa wants to leave ASAP – as in today!
Something Borrowed
Jack (Peter Bergman) figures out from Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) demeanor that Hilary’s time is limited, and is hit hard, realizing how short everyone’s time is.
Phyllis worries that she was too hard on Billy (Jason Thompson), she needs to be more supportive about his problem. Jack promises to be Phyllis’ rock during Hilary’s wedding since his brother isn’t getting the job done.
Something Blue
Hilary passes out prior to the ceremony and fights back long enough to marry Devon. The ceremony is all about how amazing Hilary is, and how she, seemingly, never did a wrong thing in her life. Fake news till the end….
