A winning 41% of the audience went with a true classic: Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). Sure, they met while she was stripping. Sure, he tried to turn her into someone she wasn’t in order to make her worthy of him. Sure, they’ve both cheated on each other, and divorced each other, and married and had children with other people. But if that’s not love, what is, we ask you. What is?
The Next Generation
A slightly smaller 34% went with Victor and Nikki’s son, Nicholas (Joshua Morrow), and his on-and-off-again love, Sharon (Sharon Case). Sure, they’ve both cheated on each other, and divorced each other, and married and had children with other people. But, hey, at least she’s not a stripper. Though, for Nikki, that’s just another of Sharon’s many failings.

You just got to see them in rerun action and, for 14% of the fans, that was enough to vote Kay (Jeanne Cooper) and Rex (Quinn Redeker) as their top pick. Rex and Kay were relatively faithful to each other, too. At least when they weren’t somebody else…
No Go
Only 11% of you voted for Jack (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). Maybe it’s because they’ve now been apart much longer than they ever were together. Maybe it’s because she cheated on him with his brother.
Or maybe it’s because you prefer her with Nick and him with… somebody? Anybody? Jack is having a dry spell. But Phyllis isn’t the water he needs. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
