One of the best parts of The Young and the Restless classic villains week reruns was new fans chance to see bad boys and girls they’d only heard about before.

The Young and the Restless Polling

And it gave them a chance to think about which one(s) should return. Over 1,000 shared their votes with us:

Little Ricky

It’s very likely most viewers didn’t even know that Paul (Doug Davidson) once had a crazy son named Ricky. Ricky was the son of Paul’s crazy wife, Isabella (Eva Longoria). And the apple didn’t fall very hard from that tree. Paul shot and killed Ricky to keep him from killing Michael’s (Christian J. LeBlanc) sister, Eden.

Killed, shmilled, 46% of you shrug. This is soap opera land! Dead never means really dead. Just ask Victor (Eric Braeden)! Or Nick (Joshua Morrow). Or Cane (Daniel Goddard). Or JT (Thad Luckinbill). Bring Ricky back… and let him really go to town on Genoa City.

Bringing In the Trash

A sadistic 27% of The Young and the Restless fans liked what you saw of David Kimble (Michael Corbett). The KILLER on the forehead, the fancy Halloween costume, the death by trash compactor… Sure, his death is a classic. But so is his life.

If anyone deserves a return trip to Genoa City, it’s David. Sure, his original targets, Nina (Tricia Cast) and Danny (Michael Damian), are no longer in residence. But Jill (Jess Walton) and Christine (Lauralee Bell) are still around. Go get ’em, David. It would give them something to do…

Welcome Matt

A slightly smaller 26% want to see Matt (Eddie Cibrian, then Rick Hearst) again. He’s Sharon’s (Sharon Case) high school rapist who, years later, framed Nick for his murder (after framing him for dealing drugs). He was also indirectly responsible for Nick and Sharon losing their unborn baby. So, yeah, fun guy…The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
