The Young and the Restless has been pretty light in the romance department lately. Sure, Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Lola (Sasha Calle) got married. Yay?

The Young and the Restless Polling

Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam (Mark Grossman) got back together. Double yay? Abby (Melissa Ordway) started dating Chance (Danny Boaz). OK, fine.

But how about mixing things up a bit, and giving some of the below odd couples a chance. Almost 5,000 fans weighed in on how they’d feel about the possibility:

Can Hardly ‘Vate’

How about Nate (Brooks Darnell) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle), 60% challenge? She and Billy (Jason Thompson) seem to be on their way out. And Nate and Abby never quite got off the ground. So how about trying another Newman daughter?

Victor (Eric Braeden) will be pleased that he’ll still get to keep Nate as his personal errand boy. And fans promise not to do the math about how Victoria once dated Nate’s Uncle Neil (Kristoff St. John).

Amanda and…Somebody

Amanda (Mishael Morgan) is too good for Billy. Especially since he has a tendency to treat her as his guilty little secret — when they don’t even have anything to be guilty about.

And Chance… well, we don’t know much about Chance yet. But the fact that he’s a once and future secret agent man suggests Abby might be a bit too dull for him. Amanda isn’t dull. Plus, he might need her legal services in the near future, say 22% of you.

Would It Be Too Shilly?

The Young and the Restless teased fans with a Sharon (Sharon Case) and Billy hook-up when Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) hooked up. Now 10% want to see it explored.

Last Place

Only 8% are on board for Phyllis and Devon (Bryton James). Doesn’t it seem like she would eat him alive? And he wouldn’t even notice? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
