Fans still wonder why Theo Vanderway was brought onto The Young and the Restless and given a family only for actor Tyler Johnson to leave the show, but Genoa City’s loss is another production’s gain — and the actor has finally revealed where we can see him next!

In early April, Johnson began teasing that he had news to reveal but he never quite came out and said it. He showed a video of himself near a horse saying, “When your co-worker is orders of magnitude cooler than you…” but there was still no exact reveal.

He also showed himself wearing a very cool leather jacket with the word “Prospect” on it — which was an even bigger hint for fans of the show Sons of Thunder on PureFlix. That show created its first season in 2019, which consisted of eight episodes. It stars Randal Reeder as Simon, a combat vet who motorcycles across the country, working odd jobs as he helps those who God puts in his path — in an attempt to atone for his past sins in a biker club. Patrick Swayze’s brother, Don Swayze, also stars.
The handsome actor confirmed the speculation when Twitter user @MissAbb37309863 posted a still from the actors Instagram story with the horse saying, “Looks like our man @WTylerJohnson will be riding Horse and 🏍 in his upcoming series #sonsofthunder,” to which the actor replied with a heart emoji saying, “I appreciate you.”
He didn’t correct her, so it looks like not only has Sons of Thunder earned another season, but fans will get to see Johnson be a part of it. No word on how large a role it is or if it’s for more than one episode, but it’s a safe bet that his many fans will be thrilled regardless! The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
