J.T., played by Thad Luckinbill, returned to The Young and the Restless recently. In a short time, he’s back together with Victoria. He’s back to full-time parenting with Reed. He’s working for Newman Enterprises – oh, and for Paul, too.

So J.T. has his finger in a lot of Genoa City pies these days. But has his return actually made the show any more interesting? Almost 13,000 viewers have something to say about that!

Absolutely, cheer 62% of you! First and foremost, you wanted to know what was going on with J.T. and Mac. Even if they’re breaking up, it’s still nice to get an update.

Plus, who else but J.T. would have looked the other way when it came to Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) embezzling from Victor (Eric Braeden), which led to their sham – and entertaining – latest marriage?

And then there’s the reunion with Victoria (Amelia Heinle), which some fans have been rooting for since the previous century.

J.T.’s return has been a major win for the show, and you can’t wait to see what happens next! (What’s up with those pills? What exactly are he and Paul (Doug Davidson) looking for? And how many hissy fits about work/home life balance can J.T. and Victoria’s newfound relationship withstand?)

What do you think? Post a comment!

They Snooze, We Lose
Who cares, demand a dissenting 37%! J.T. and Victoria both look like they’re settling for their second choices after the people they really love, Mac and Billy (Jason Thompson), slipped through their fingers. There’s no fire in their reunion, no passion, no romance. Just familiarity and habit.

Meanwhile, J.T. is skulking about, sneaking peeks at Victoria’s computer for reasons we can’t quite figure out, bickering with Billy, getting snapped at by Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu), and making idle conversation with Lily (Christel Khalil). Sure, Mac is suing him for custody of their kids – off-screen for now?

This return is not what any of you consider entertainment.

The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
