Setting up Victor on The Young and the Restless is no easy task. No one has ever managed to take down the Genoa City powerhouse, at least until (maybe) now.
Someone is out there and they’re willing to do whatever it takes to put The Mustache behind bars once and for all. But, who?
Is JT Alive?
It would come as no surprise to any fan if JT was alive and working in the shadows. He’s tried to off Victor (Eric Braeden) twice before and would love to see him rot away in jail. The evidence even points his way – it was his clothing in the barn and in Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) bed after all.
However, we have someone much more sinister in mind. This red-headed vixen hates Victor more than anyone and is already pushing the conspiracy theory so hard she has his own son convinced he’s guilty.
The Ultimate Revenge
Yes, we definitely think Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) is behind it all! She has the motive, she has the means, and she knows all the tricks to put this plan into action!
Phyllis has a lot at stake if the ladies’ secret is ever discovered. She wasn’t the one holding the fire poker but the cover-up was all her idea and she’s been searching for a way out ever since.

The Queen Of Schemes!
How did she pull this off? She knows her way around the ranch (and its security) so setting the blaze and planting the evidence wouldn’t be hard. She’d even stay under the radar considering she’s a well-known visitor. No one would bat an eye.
As for the clothing? Those would be easy to duplicate. All she would need were the same sizes and brands and some JT blood (thank you, GC hospital lab) and she’d be well on her way.
Phyllis is known for her cunning and scheming, as well as holding onto grudges for way too long. She’s a force to be reckoned with and never afraid to do the unthinkable.
