The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) reveal Billy’s not as slick as he wants to believe. His gambling is out of control and Phyllis soon realizes something’s not quite right with her leading man.
Lies Upon Lies
Billy’s (Jason Thompson) on the second biggest losing streak of his life and this one could cost him the family company.
He’s already lost his precious yacht and is running out of funds to try to win it back. To make things worse, Ashley’s back in action at Jabot and could uncover his secret at any time.
His only options are to come clean or take a seat at one last poker table in an attempt to back his cash before it’s too late. Sadly, he picks the latter and his decision doesn’t come without complications.
Summer Steps In
To get in on the action he’ll have to get away from Phyllis for the evening – and that’s no easy task.
Spoilers reveal him getting Summer in on his plan and hoping she’s a good enough distraction that Phyllis won’t come looking for him.
From the start, the diversion plot has one too many problems. Summer not only backs up Billy’s story of working late but she practically has to beg Phyllis for a mother/daughter night.

Phyllis has a one-track mind and it’s all about Billy. It takes all of Summer’s charms to drag her mother out for a nice dinner at the club alone.
Caught Red Handed!
However, all hell brakes loose when the ladies head home and Phyllis decides to drop by the office for a night cap with Billy. Instead of finding him in buried in paperwork with the phone attached to his ear, she finds and empty office.
Poor Phyllis nearly falls apart when she realizes Billy lied to her and replays the last few lies he’s told. There’s something fishy going on but instead of thinking it’s anything connected to gambling, she’s convinced it’s another woman.
Billy has a lot of explaining to do and with his cover story blown he may want to spill the truth.
