The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) for Monday, December 11 use the expected demise of a tiny park to stir up conflict between Nick and Devon, and Victor and Nikki. Meanwhile, Ravi finally gets Ashley to quit taking him for granted.

Lighting the (S)Park
Because a park named after Kay (Jeanne Cooper) has suddenly become the most important issue in Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) life — even more important than his son being laid up in bed with a sprained ankle — he turns to someone whom he expects to be just as worked up about it as he is.

Nick goes to Devon (Bryton James) and suggests Devon buy the property himself and keep Victor (Eric Braeden) from turning it into condos. He could use the money Kay left him. See the poetic justice of it?

But Devon has other things going on in his life. And he’s just not as into parks as Nick appears to be now.

This Means War!
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) is also park-obsessed.

She goes straight to the top, Victor himself, to warn that he will be facing massive resistance to his plans, and it could lead to an all-out family war.

What do you think? Post a comment!

As opposed to what they’re in the middle of now, with Victoria (Amelia Heinle) choosing one side and Nick the other.

Two Weeks Notice
Ravi (Abhi Sinha) heeded Phyllis’s (Gina Tognoni) advice and accepted the job at Newman so that Ashley (Eileen Davidson) will stop thinking of him as a boy toy at her beck and call. Ravi tells Ashley that he’s giving his notice, and Ashley instantly sees it as, “You’re leaving me?”

Uhm, Ashley, did you think you were employing him all this time for IT help… and booty-calls? Considering how easy it is to win a sexual harassment claim in Genoa City (RIP, Juliet), she should be more careful how she phrases things.

The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
