The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) for Wednesday, July 18th hint at Hilary and Lily facing danger, Nick laying out his case, and Mariah and Tessa growing closer.
Mama En Mama
Lily (Christel Khalil) laid down ground rules for Shauna (Camryn Hamm) and Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry): No being alone together.
Shauna manipulated Hilary (Mishael Morgan) into wanting to be the “cool mom,” which prompted her to say that Shauna and Charlie could hang out at her place.
When Lily finds out, she is not pleased, to say the least. Lily lets Hilary have it, including snapping that Hilary has no business being a mother: She’ll be a terrible one. The two women are sitting in Lily’s car.
The passenger side is the most dangerous spot in case of an accident…
My Side
Nick (Joshua Morrow) attempted to defend his actions against Victor (Eric Braeden) to Sharon (Sharon Case), Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), and Victoria (Amelia Heinle).
You would have thought just saying, “I didn’t do anything Dad wouldn’t have done… and has done… and will do again…” would have been enough.

But the women were too busy being self-righteous and not very self-aware. So Nick promises one more piece of news, which he thinks could change everything.

What You Wish For
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) has been pining over Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) for so long, now that Kyle (Michael Mealor) has pushed the two together, she’s not sure how to react.
The two women grow closer, but all is not trouble-free in paradise. Remember that mysterious phone call that Tessa took in the middle of their date? The one about the money?
There is more going on than meets the eye. Let’s just hope her sister isn’t back, and that we never have to hear the words “sex traffic ring” again. Mariah – and we – deserve better.
