The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, September 13 reveal a day of secrets, surprises, and ultimate danger.

Rey gets a lesson in trying to enforce the law in Genoa City, while Devon considers Charlie’s blackmail. Plus, Tessa faces danger.

Welcome to Genoa City
Pity poor Rey (Jordi Vilasuso). He must have moved from a town where being rich doesn’t mean there’s a different standard of justice for you. But, he’s about to learn his lesson!

Victor (Eric Braeden) won’t stand for being arrested and serving time when he’s committed a crime. So, even though he’s pretty pissed at Nick (Joshua Morrow) right now, he won’t tolerate that for his son, either. It might make Victor look bad.

Also, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) has her own reasons for wanting Rey off JT’s scent. The scruffy detective will never know what hit him!

Quid Pro Quo
Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) cut school because he’s so distraught about Lily (Christel Khalil) being in prison. (Why he cut all those other times before, is unclear.) Devon (Bryton James) played the doting uncle and told Charlie to get back to class.

Charlie countered that he would… if Devon visited Lily. Clearly, Charlie has a very elevated sense of his own importance. Will Devon fall for it? And, if he does, will it make Lily’s situation better… or worse?

Under Threat
Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) has been going around town asking anyone she can think of for $20,000 so that she can pay off the people who helped smuggle her sister into Canada. If she doesn’t come up with the money, something bad will happen.

But, what? And, how bad? Guess she – and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) – are about to find out. Some very bad guys are in Genoa City, threatening to do some very bad things.

The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
