He throws one more obligatory “I love you, dad” around for good measure and hightails it outta there. Victor is none the wiser when it’s time to swallow his pills. He pops one in, gulps it down with some water, and go about his day — at least for now.
Victor will not be well long. In fact, the side effect will kick in fast and he winds up sicker than anyone could imagine.
