The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, January 9 promise a day of shock and sadness in Genoa City.

Gloating Time
The last visitor Victor (Eric Braeden) got in jail was Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), who tried to tell him she killed JT (Thad Luckinbill). Victor shut her up and told her he’d handle the situation.
Now Jack (Peter Bergman) is sitting down with the imprisoned Mustache. It’s highly unlikely he’s going to confess to killing JT.
More likely, he’s there to gloat about how far the mighty – and mouthy – have fallen.

Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) already flat out told Victoria (Amelia Heinle) that Victor going to jail for a crime he didn’t commit will be justice served over the tiny term Victor served before.
Remember when he kidnapped Jack and replacing him with a lookalike who raped Phyllis and led to the disintegration of their marriage. Jack doesn’t even know for a fact that Victor is innocent of this crime.
He came to talk it out (and gloat a little). He also wants to make Victor an offer he might not want to refuse…even if he should…
