The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) reveal one woman’s dreams shatter while another woman receives the offer of a lifetime!
There’s no doubt Ashley (Eileen Davidson) is at her best when she’s cackling her delightfully evil laugh, and that’s just what she does as she and her lawyer sashay out of the Abbott household leaving a frustrated Jack (Peter Bergman) in their wake.
The cause of his frustration? The Innovator Of The Year and his sister, whom he just let slip through his fingers, decided to create a startup to directly compete with Jabot. That means trouble for John Abbott’s company and Jack.
Meanwhile, at Hamilton Winters, Devon (Bryton James) informs Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) that not only will he not release her song, but he’s also dropping her from the label. Tearfully, she pleads for another chance, but he informs her there’s simply no money and no trust — he read the journal and knows she plagiarized.
Ever the opportunist, Victor (Eric Braeden) runs into Ashley’s lawyer and finds out she’s on the market — he’s never one to let something golden slip away.
Jack Abbott’s loss will be his gain as long as Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) agrees to put her loyalty to Jack away and help him win over his scorned sister.
Because they’re now the hottest tag team in Genoa City, Mrs. Newman agrees, and later the couple meets up with Ashley at Newman Towers to simply… catch up (pitch her). Ashley’s a smart woman, so she sees their game, but even so, she’s intrigued.
Of course, she points out Newman is filled up with high ranking executives and she’s not about to take a demotion. That’s when Victor offers to create a new C-level position and makes her the offer of a lifetime, but will she take it or start her own cosmetics company?
Back at Hamilton Winters, Noah (Robert Adamson) comes in fresh off of yelling at his mom and his sister over Tessa. Tessa’s crying, but her tears and sniffles don’t move Noah.
She tells him the label dropped her, and, unfortunately, that’s not the only thing she’s being dropped from. Noah is so over it. All he wanted was to know her, and all she did was lie. He can’t trust her and bets she’s only with him for the money anyway.
So, that’s it. Goodbye Tessa.
