The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal a homecoming Victoria certainly was not expecting — and it’s all at the wrong time.
Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) shocks Victoria (Amelia Heinle) when he arrives home for the holidays several weeks early and wants to know what really happened to his father.
Victoria has to fill him in on everything she knows — or at least everything she claims to know when the police are possibly on the wrong track. However, she leaves out a whole lotta details.
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) is also shocked to see her grandson and Victoria and mom try their best to steer the conversation away from JT (Thad Luckinbill), but Reed has a one-track mind.
It’s one thing to think his father was missing and abandoned him. It’s a whole other thing to know he’s dead and never coming back.
But, this doesn’t mean Reed doesn’t still need a father figure so he turns to the other man who has been a near-constant in his life.
Reed and Billy (Jason Thompson) sit down at Crimson Lights and Billy is a bit alarmed when Reed announces he is going to do whatever it takes to find his father’s killer and make that killer pay.
Billy tries to talk Reed down from the ledge, but when that doesn’t work, he needs to go elsewhere.
So, Victoria gets a visit and learns she better calm down her oldest son. Her heart is breaking for how he’s grieving, but he can’t ever get to the truth about what really happened to JT.
Reed might never recover for knowing what his mother and grandmother did, but he gets an earful about what the police think his grandfather did and it will be up to Victoria to calm her out-of-control son.
