The Young and the Restless spoilers raw breakdown for Monday, December 24 promise a Christmas Eve no one will forget. Nikki fights for her life but gets dangerously close to losing the battle.
The Fight to Save Nikki
Christmas is a day away from problems, but there’s nothing merry for the Newman children.
Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) take turns by Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) bedside, holding vigil and praying for her to wake. Sadly, it doesn’t look like she’ll come out of this anytime soon.
Nick (Joshua Morrow) begs for Nikki to come out of her coma. His tearful pleas do little to help but he promises his mother he won’t give up. Nikki needs to survive and make their family whole.
Victoria does the same when she’s alone. The whole family needs her mother and Nikki can’t succumb to this terrible fate. She has too much to live for and too much left to do.

While Nikki does hear their words (and heard Reed’s confession), she won’t open her eyes. Instead, she fights walking off into the white light. She almost follows that destiny before visions of Victor stop her.
Nick and Vicky Clash
Tensions rise as things get worse, ending in a blowout between the siblings over when Nick offers to lend a hand at Newman. Vicky won’t have any of it. She won’t let him use this tragedy to weasel his way back in.
At home, Vicky and Billy (Jason Thompson) grow closer as they create a magical Christmas Eve for the children. However, the little ones miss their grandma and Reed’s close to a breakdown.
