The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal a day of shocking courtroom drama coming up. The Newman ladies are in big trouble and there’s seemingly no way to help them now! (Of course, there’s always Victor.)
Christine (Lauralee Bell) has dreamed about this day for years. She gets to take down a dynasty and to make it sweeter, she gets three Newmans for the price of one. The DA is all smiles walking into the courtroom and she’s practically beaming when she walks out.
Oh, and boy does she have a lot to smile about! She has Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) as her star witness, more evidence than she would ever need, and three terrified ladies who can’t get their stories straight. This case is a slam dunk and she’s ready to get her hands on the ball.
It comes as no shock to the trio it was Red who ratted them out (and then showed up to court to watch them go down). They’ve known for a long time Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) was only out for herself.
Their only regret is they didn’t take her out earlier. Instead, they’ll have to face a tough fate while she walks free.
Sadly, there’s nothing their lawyers can do to help them now. The only advice is to plead not guilty and hope for the best. Their luck has run out.
The ladies stand one at a time, listen to the judge read the charges, and do as directed. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) takes the hit with grace but it takes everything Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Sharon (Sharon Case) have to not fall apart.
Their lives spiral when they hear Christine call for no bail and the judge agrees! They’ll be behind bars for the foreseeable future, if not for years to come.
Meanwhile, Phyllis sits in her nice, cozy spot next to Nick (Joshua Morrow) and watches the drama unfold, but how will Nick feel about all this?
