For the last year, Nick (Joshua Morrow) has been doing everything he can to distance himself from Victor (Eric Braeden) and Newman Enterprises.
He gave away his trust fund and even went off on his own and started Dark Horse. He was over being Victor’s son.

But now that Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) is in the hospital, and Victor’s either missing or deliberately staying away, Nick has decided he needs to take over. Kind of like Victor would have done.
His first order of business is to yell and scream at the police that they need to find the person responsible for Nikki’s hit and run. You know, the way Victor would have done.
And he is dismissing Victoria (Amelia Heinle) as the more logical successor, even though she’s older than him and actually works at Newman. The way… you know….
