The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, August 16, 2019, reveal the wedding of the year is finally here! Lola and Kyle are ready to take their vows but it’s not without a few teeny tiny hiccups — because what would be a Genoa City wedding without some drama.
Kyle (Michael Mealor) definitely goes all out for his dream wedding. The park is the picture of perfection from the altar to the flowers, and right down the twinkle lights. There’s just one problem — the groom is getting cold feet.
Cue a Kyle meltdown when he decides he’s not good enough for his bride. Thankfully, his aunts will talk him out of making a major mistake. Lola (Sasha Calle) is his soulmate and he needs to get dressed and get down that aisle!
Oh, and that’s not the only drama of the day. Summer (Hunter King) decides to attend the big day and asks her mama to be her guest. So, poor Kyle faces his ex on his big day — and let’s not forget he’s made out with Phyllis too).

Luckily, Summer is just there to observe. She loves Kyle but if she can’t have him she wants him to be happy. Lola certainly makes him happy.
Summer’s not the only surprise guest. Lola gets a huge shock when her mama makes an appearance. Jack (Peter Bergman) managed to bring Celeste (Eva LaRue) back to town and she’s pleased as punch to be at the wedding.
Spoilers reveal Lola will be so happy to see her mom she’ll ask her to join Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) walking her down the aisle. It’s one of Celeste’s dreams and quite an honor. Down the aisle, the trio will go.
