The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal a heartbreaking day when Lily and Cane come face to face. This is their first encounter since filing for divorce and the weight of their decision finally sinks in.
For years, there was no greater love story than Lily (Christel Khalil) and Cane’s (Daniel Goddard) in Genoa City.
The couple fought to be together, held onto one another, got through the Caleb fiasco, a grueling cancer diagnosis, and raising two children. They fell in love over and over again and everyone thought this was forever.
Unfortunately, terrible decision after terrible decision took the pair down. Their pattern of breaking up and making up every few years is over and there is no going back now. Their lives are going in different directions. At least, after this one last meeting.
Lily and Cane will see each other for the reading of Neil’s will. Do not expect this to be a happy reunion. Tensions are set to immediately rise as the almost-divorced couple is unsure how to even be in the same room.

Cane will feel the heat, even more, when Neil’s words from the grave kick him while he’s down. He was expecting something personal, and well, that’s what he got.
His ex-father-in-law turns the tables on Cane and leaves him with nothing but some parting words. Neil forgives him and hopes Cane can convince everyone he hurt to forgive him, too.
The final kicker came when Lily’s inheritance is read. It gives her a huge financial edge and the freedom to live her life on her own terms.
