The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, August 5 reveal a day of suspicions, confrontation, and celebrations. Adam makes threats to Nick he’s in no position to deliver, Phyllis has an odd theory about Theo, and Mariah plotting some wacky hijinks. You won’t want to miss a moment of this edge-of-your-seat episode.
Looking Ahead
Adam (Mark Grossman) is so confident he’ll get custody of Christian — even though the judge called it more or less a draw on the last go-around — that he feels comfortable taunting Nick (Joshua Morrow).
He tells him once Christian knows Adam is his dad and Adam has full custody, Nick will never be able to see the boy again!
That sounds like an awful big case of counting your chickens before they’re hatched. Adam has a lot of skeletons still left to dig up — and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) has been doing some pretty serious shoveling.

Phyllis was totes excited when it looked like Theo was going to deliver a bunch of influencers to her hotel opening. Of course, that was before she found out the hotel was not in Genoa City — Adam double-crossed her.
