The Young and the Restless spoilers leave viewers with a lot of questions: Is Alan holding Sharon and Phyllis? Is Alan Martin? Is he working alone? Is Ashley involved? What does either of them have against Sharon and Phyllis, beyond them both having pasts with Nicholas, Billy, and Jack, who are connected to Ashley?

Alan (Christopher Cousins) may be the one torturing Sharon (Sharon Case) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), but what if he is only doing it for Ashley (Eileen Davidson)? What if it’s a weird form of therapy for her?
What if Alan decided Ashley’s breakdown and split personality came about as a result of listening to Sharon and Phyllis snipe at each other for literally decades? Hey, we’re tired of it, too. We’d love for it to end, also. And if locking them up together and taking turns killing one, then the other, then waiting for them to save each other’s lives is what’s going to finally make it happen, then, yay, Alan! Go for it! Anything to make this agony end.

Just the Two of Us
Sharon and Phyllis would like to bring it to an end, as well. They are determined to live to fight (each other) another day. This is good because Alan — or whoever is pulling his strings — has upped the ante. Will he kill them to make the screeching stop? Sharon and Phyllis aren’t in the mood to help him make that happen.
Other Side of Town
Meanwhile, Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Billy (Jason Thompson) are following the clues left by the (accidental) text connecting Phyllis to the now-closed psychiatric clinic. The two don’t like each other either. But they can work together, just like Sharon and Phyllis. Maybe Alan’s — or whoever — plan is bigger than just the two women. Maybe he is here to cure all of Genoa City!
