The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, August 7, see Matt and Mariah crossing paths. That can’t be good for anyone.
Key Takeaways
- Is Mariah Matt’s next target?
- Audra gives Billy a hand.
- Victoria and Adam join forces for Nick.
Mariah Meets Matt
Mariah (Camryn Grimes) just got back into town. As far as we know, she hasn’t even seen Tessa (Cat Fairbanks) or Aria yet. She’s talked to Sharon (Sharon Case). She’s said goodbye to Noah (Lucas Adams).
And now it’s time for her to say hello to Matt (Roger Howarth). Matt knew Mariah’s twin sister, the late Cassie (also-Grimes). And Mariah got an earful about Matt from Sharon.
And yet, we know that Mariah has a weakness for charismatic, charming psychopaths — she was raised by Ian (Ray Wise), after all. Could this turn into something… very, very dark?
Audra Makes Nice with Billy
Billy (Jason Thompson) is a jerk. Sally (Courtney Hope) made it clear to him that she and Adam (Mark Grossman) agreed to keep the details of Adam’s purchase of Newman Media from her private.
Billy shrugged it off. He was looking out for Sally. She should be grateful! Sally is not grateful.
Audra (Zuleyka Silver) isn’t thrilled either. Which makes us wonder why she is working with Billy. Can we hope that it’s to protect Sally—and ruin him?
Adam and Victoria Step Up for Nick
Adam (Mark Grossman) isn’t too thrilled with Victor (Eric Braeden) at the moment. But he’s relatively OK with his siblings. (Even though he was the kid very obviously missing from Victor and Nikki’s [Melody Thomas Scott] umpteenth vow renewal.)
Which is why, when Victoria (Amelia Heinle) needs a hand dealing with Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) addiction, Adam steps up. Maybe they’ll join forces to take down their devil of a dad once and for all. But we’re not holding our breath.
