What to Watch Next Week on Y&R
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) has her eyesight back. Her marriage is intact once again. And while her son is in rehab, she knows where he is and that he’s working on staying clean. What she no longer has is Chancellor, the company she used to love running.
But there’s no need to worry. Nikki finds her next challenge. Will she take the reins at Vibrante? Or does this have something to do with whatever power move Victor (Eric Braeden) unleashes next week? This is in addition to his initiating another revenge plot against the Abbotts, of course.
While Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Kyle (Michael Mealor, who talks about Kyle and Victoria’s dynamic) give in to temptation, Nick (Joshua Morrow, Soap Hub‘s Y&R performer of the month for August 2026) is back in savior mode. Things turned chaotic with Marie (Jade Harlow) at the rehab facility. And it all has to do with her loser husband and their confrontation that turned into a crime. Nick vowed to help. That must be why he gets a visit from Michael (Christian Le Blanc) for his legal expertise.
In the Abbott World, things are just as dramatic and dangerous. Patty (Stacy Haiduk) is somehow out of prison. The teasers state that she comes out of the shadows. But on Friday, Jack will set a trap for her in hopes of putting her right back into those shadows.
Meanwhile, it’s up to Audra (Zuleyka Silver) to give Billy (Jason Thompson) a reality check. The two are friendlier these days. So if anybody can cause him to wake up and see what’s right in front of him, it’s her. She knows what it’s like to be blind to everything else in her life and then to pay the price for it.
And finally, Matt (Roger Howarth) shares his vision of his redemption story. Let’s hope this really isn’t about putting Sharon (Sharon Case) in danger and then saving her. But if it is, he may have come up with a plan of how to make that happen.
Additionally, things will turn a little bumpy for Matt and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) by the end of the week when Matt gives Phyllis mixed signals. Ruh roh. That may not be a wise thing for Matt to do.
