Upon returning from her short honeymoon, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) visits Jack (Peter Bergman). The two pals catch up with Nikki filling Jack in on Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) rehab, and her and Victor’s (Eric Braeden) honeymoon.
When it Jack’s time to share, he’s nonchalant. But Nikki suspects he’s hiding something. “I sense that you want some privacy, which makes me think something is wrong,” a worried Nikki says.
With the Abbotts possibly owning Chancellor, Jack wants to keep it under wraps. Because if word gets back to Victor, he’ll try to shoehorn his way into the business matter.
Marie Flirts With Nick
At the rehab center, Nick is passing the time by working a jigsaw puzzle. Marie (Jade Harlow) comes into the rec room and joins Nick.
As the two work together, Nick remarks on the pieces he missed. “Sometimes it takes a fresh set of eyes for everything to fall into place,” Marie replies.
Nick and Marie’s friendships seems to be taking a romantic turn. But with both of them battling addictions, it might not be the best time to pursue a relationship.
Phyllis Demands Answers From Adam
Over at GCAC, Adam (Mark Grossman) and Cane (Billy Flynn) are having drinks and talking business. Their meeting is interrupted when Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) barges in demanding to know where Matt (Roger Howarth) is.
Since Matt moved off the Newman property, he’s no longer Adam or his family’s concern. Adam won’t be any help to Phyllis, whose panic will increase.
Perhaps Phyllis would have better luck at Crimson Lights. Since Matt’s trying to earn Sharon’s (Sharon Case) trust and forgiveness, odds are he’s with the coffee shop owner.
Victoria and Kyle’s Argument Turns Passionate
At the Jabot office, tension continues to rise between Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Kyle (Michael Mealor). During a heated argument, Victoria declares, “I’m gonna love knocking the swagger out of you.” It doesn’t take long for Kyle to take Victoria in his arms and kiss her.
