Victoria Proves Victor’s Promise to Nikki Was Worthless
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) went from having sex with Kyle (Michael Mealor) in his office to bragging to Daddy about how she has a new plan to bring down Jabot. Isn’t Daddy proud of her? (And isn’t that why Victoria does… anything?) Victor (Eric Braeden) is not only proud, but he is also downright encouraging.
Oh, what was that he promised Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) right before they renewed their vows? That he’d stop harassing her friend? Well, as Homer Simpson taught us, it takes two people to lie: One to lie, and one to listen. So, really, this is all Nikki’s fault for believing her husband could ever become a better person. Nick Has No Patience for Phyllis’s Concern About Matt
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) goes to visit Nick (Joshua Morrow) in rehab, not to see how her daughter’s father is doing, but to talk about the missing Matt (Roger Howarth). She is shocked when Nick does not seem concerned about what happened to the man who tried to kill him numerous times — oh, and also fed his drug habit.
Phyllis is just so confused as to why no one seems as concerned about Matt as she is. Why does this poor woman have to do everything herself?
Stephanie and Nate’s Connection Starts Looking Like More Than Friendship
Just like we saw chemistry between Victoria and Kyle long before they did, we see it between Stephanie (Vivica A. Fox) and Nate (Sean Dominic). Sure, there’s an age difference, and she was a good friend of his mother’s, not to mention having a child, Holden (Nathan Owens), with Nate’s adoptive father, Malcolm (Shemar Moore). But this is nothing in soap terms. Go for it, guys!
