The Young and the Restless spoilers update for April 12 – 16, 2021 reveal a warning, a roadblock, and a bonding moment.
The Young and the Restless — The Week Ahead
Adam (Mark Grossman), for once, was telling the truth. He didn’t have any part in Rey’s poisoning. After convincing Sharon (Sharon Case) to help him catch the real culprit, the two set a trap. Sharon pulled off her part by telling Chelsea the “good news” about proving Adam’s innocence. Now the next part of the plan is for Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) to follow Sharon around town, and then Sharon and Adam can catch Chelsea in her lies.
Once the truth is out about Chelsea, Sharon will warn Rey (Jordi Vilasuso). Will Rey believe Sharon, or think this is another classic case of Sharon taking Adam’s side? Speaking of, will this mean Sharon has to admit to Rey that she’s been helping Adam all along? Surely, she will have to explain why she even suspected Chelsea was lying in the first place. Things could get interesting…
Surprise, surprise. It looks like Summer’s (Hunter King) and Kyle’s (Michael Mealor) relationship hits a roadblock. It seems these two can never catch a break and are constantly on-again-off-again in love. What or who is the culprit of their latest snafu? We have a guess this could have to do with Ashland (Richard Burgi) finding out the truth behind Kyle and Tara’s (Elizabeth Leiner) affair. Uh oh.
It is a sweet moment you will not want to miss when Devon (Bryton James) and Moses (Jacob Aaron Gaines) bond over memories of Neil (Kristoff St. John). It will be a bittersweet walk down Memory Lane, that might just bring a few tears to your eyes. Be sure to tune in next week so you don’t miss a thing!

Sharon snuck off to see Adam and learned Chelsea was lying so she decided to play a little game. She visited Chelsea and pushed all her buttons. Chelsea realized the walls were closing in. She started to fake a slow recovery and used Nick (Joshua Morrow) as a pawn.
Abby got great news when Mariah’s (Camryn Grimes) pregnancy test came back positive. The baby makers celebrated and looked forward to the next few months. The moment became melancholy when Abby (Melissa Ordway) thought of Chance. All good, though, she poured her feelings into a video diary.
