The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) reveal something fishy is going on over at Newman Enterprises. Emails, boxes, and press releases threaten to destroy the company and it looks like the info is coming from the inside.
While the set up looks like it’s coming straight from JT – which means he escaped his garden grave and is back for revenge – that could be too obvious?
Maybe the whole game is just being set up to look that way since JT’s (Thad Luckinbill) already a wanted man anyway. Everyone seems to have their hunches as to what’s going on and think there are few other people who should also be looked at.
The Angry Reed
JT’s abandonment hasn’t sat well with Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu). The troubled teen’s had a tough go even before his Genoa City return so it would come as no surprise if he went off the rails again.
He stole Vicky’s (Amelia Heinle) credit card once (remember the internet porn fiasco) so it’s possible he took one of his dad’s too.
But, why do this to Victoria? What if Reed found out about the night of his dad’s death? There was a lot of chatter going on in the house right after and it’s not like he’d be the first child to sit on the stairs and eavesdrop. This could be his way of getting back at his murderous grandma and his mother who covered it all up!
Another Vengeful Son
There’s also Nick (Joshua Morrow) who swore revenge on Victor for taking Christian. He said he’d play dirty and they’d never see this type of scheme coming. This could be his way of getting payback. The only question would be – why put his sister through this?

Scheme Queen Phyllis
Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) knows the police will never stop until they find JT so this could be her way of throwing them off their tracks. She was the last one to have his phone in her hands so maybe she took his wallet too.
The timing of her “business trip” may seem like a coincidence but it could have been an elaborate ruse to set this all up. While she may not have access to Newman files, she’s handy at hacking and would be able to bypass the security systems.
Is That You, Adam?
Of course, there’s always the chance this is Adam’s handiwork. Everyone knows how much he despised his dad and siblings and it’s a pretty good bethe’s not really dead. Could this be his way of terrorizing the family before he makes his way back to Genoa City?
Paul Rolls The Dice
There’s one more person we should be watching. The police detective is sure Victoria has something to do with JT’s disappearance so what if this is all a sting operation?
He certainly could gain access to the files and the credit card. Sending the files and putting the family on alert may just be his way of hoping Vicky finally spills her secret.
