The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) reveal Jack’s search for his father coming to a screeching halt when he reaches the end of his rope!
Jack Chancellor-Abbott?
Ever since Dina’s (Marla Adams) movie night disaster, all Jack (Peter Bergman) has wanted are answers.
He’s been on a journey to find his biological family and see where he fits into the world. So far, he’s been willing to go to any lengths – including suing for the rights to Phillip’s DNA.
One road block has led to another and the only choice Jack has left is to put his mother on the stand so she can explain her side of the story. Jack hopes her testimony will get a judge to finally agree to let Jack dig up his father’s body.
Preparing Dina
With Jack’s whole case riding on Dina, he decides to begin preparing his ailing mom for court.

He hopes this will make the transition a lot less stressful (provided she’s lucid when the day comes) and asks Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) to help out. They pretend to be in a courtroom and grill Dina gently about her affair all those years ago.
Spoilers reveal things will go well during their questioning but not so great immediately after. It seems the whole ordeal will trigger Dina and send her into a tailspin. It’s another heartbreaking hit the family can’t stand to watch.
The Suit Is Off!
Ultimately Jack decides to save his mother the stress of ever going in front of a judge. He calls off the court date and drops the lawsuit. He may want answers but the cost is just too high.
