The Young and the Restless spoilers (YR) features Hilary’s final send off. This stand-alone, tearjerker episode found Mrs. Hamilton’s friends and family saying their final farewells.
Goodbye, Hilary
A funeral fit for a queen is what Hilary (Mishael Morgan) wanted and boy, does Devon (Bryton James) pull through.
He planned every detail of this day right down to his wife’s favorite flowers, colors, and food. This will be one Celebration Of Life no one will forget.
Devon ise beside himself the entire episode, especially before heading to the church. He deserved more time with Hilaryand they deserved their baby.
Lily will be right by his side, and while he’s ready to forgive her for the way he treated Hilary at the beginning of the day, he may not be so kind by the end.
Final Words
The funeral itself will happens off screen, but that doesn’t mean less drama. The guests arrive for the reception and that’s when things will really begin. The day will be talked about for weeks to come!
You’ll hear powerful speeches by Devon, Jack, Neil, and Shauna (Camryn Hamm) as they honor the women they all loved. Hilary was a powerhouse TV personality, a strong leader, and a trusted friend.

The room stops when it’s Phyllis’s Gina Tognoni) turn to deliver Hilary’s last wish. She opens a letter from her best friend and reads Hilary’s words to the room.
This is Hilary’s way of saying her own goodbye, making special mention Jack, Mariah (Camryn Grimes), Shauna, and of course, Devon. She bids her husband farewell and promises to meet their baby in heaven.
Anger and Understanding
Of course, there are a few surprises will come out. Devon makes no secret of his anger towards Nate failing Hilary and the tension rises. However, when Devon does face to face with the producer who tried to poach Hilary, he gets some perspective and learns just how much she really loved him.
This man offered Hilary her dream on a silver platter and she turned it down to stay in GC and build her life with Devon.
Shauna’s anger won’t dissipate as easily. The teen is still furious over the accident and directs her rage at the Ashbys. The more Lily (Christel Khalil) tries to make peace the worse things become and Shana may just do something she’ll regret!
