The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, June 11, 2020, continue their classic couples theme by going back to December 2010, when Chloe is crazy in love with Kevin, and Daniel gets to know Abby as the clock strikes midnight on New Year’s Eve.

Doesn’t it seem like it was just yesterday when Michael (Christian J. LeBlanc) was the crazy brother who terrorized an innocent woman and ended up in jail? Then it was his brother, Kevin’s (Greg Rikaart) turn.
His approach was more charm-based. He seduced the much younger Lily (Christel Khalil), gave her chlamydia, but managed to avoid jail time. Either because, or in spite of at one point wearing a huge chipmunk head. (It’s a thing, look it up.)
So how did the Baldwin/Fisher brothers go from criminal pariahs to sexy leading men? An oldie but a goodie: We were abused, thus we are absolved!

Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) wasn’t nearly as bad as Kevin – in 2010, at least. She was more of a vixen than a flat out villain. But now she’s good, too. And she’s madly in love with Kevin and ready for their happily ever after. There… um… might be a few obstacles first.
Happy New Year, Sharon and Nick
Daniel (Michael Graziadei) is also done living down a past, which includes being blamed for Cassie’s (Camryn Grimes) death. Yeah, Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon (Sharon Case) seriously jumped the gun on Wednesday’s episode, planning Cassie’s happy future.
But that’s in the past. He’s eager to look forward into the future. Will that future include Abby (then-Emmy Rylan, now Lulu on General Hospital)? What better way to symbolically represent that than by ringing in the new year together?
After all, whoever you end up kissing at midnight… odds are you won’t still be with come Valentine’s Day in soapland. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
